Estate Consultation: FREE! There is no charge for an estate evaluation/consultation.
Verbal appraisals are included.
Estate Liquidation: 35% of liquidation proceeds. Everything that Sweet Home Estate Liquidation does to prepare, facilitate, advertise and conduct your sale is included in this fee. (This fee is negotiable within certain parameters - generally when a liquidation involves high-end personal property.)
Donation to Charity: FREE! There is no charge to arrange a donation to charity after your sale. We use Uhuru Furniture and Collectibles, Salvation Army, and the PHS-SPCA Thrift Shop.
Clean-outs/Hauling: We can facilitate clean-outs before and after your sale, however, hauling fees are the responsibility of the client.
Probate Appraisals: Written appraisals for probate purposes are available. Please call for further information and fees.


Once an estate has been evaluated and a sale date has been agreed upon, a signed contract between both parties is completed - this guarantees the date of the sale. Our sales are generally two-day events, held on Friday and Saturday. We start set-up on the Monday or Tuesday prior to the sale, and generally complete all preparations within 1-3 days.

After the sale, Sweet Home can facilitate the removal of all left over stuff and any other debris. We generally arrange for donation and hauling on the Monday after the sale, therefore it is a seven-day process for us to set up a sale, conduct a sale, and clean out a home. Within seven days of the sale date, a packet that includes proceeds from the liquidation, an inventory of items sold, and any charity/hauling receipts is mailed to the client. The packet is mailed USPS Certified Mail which requires a signature upon receipt.
